Illiteracy poses a significant obstacle to development, leading to the disempowerment of vulnerable communities. Those who are illiterate cannot read signs, health warnings, or access government services and programs. This often results in a lack of appreciation for the value of education, perpetuating the cycle of poverty. To combat this, we run an Adult Literacy Program in Delhi through our NGO. Our well-educated teachers provide adults with education in various subjects, including English, mathematics, and geography, empowering them with essential knowledge and skills.
